I have always been passionate about writing. Even as a small child I would pick up a pencil and just start writing in notebooks. Many of you probably did the same thing.
My history is in the insurance industry – specifically risk management. The majority of my business writing was related to client letters; it was necessary to convey information so that it was not only read, but acted upon. Surprisingly enough, that gave me some well-rounded perspective on both sides of the business / client relationship. Communication is always the name of the game.
Susan originally brought me on to manage administrative duties, but I felt I could contribute more. She welcomed my opinions, and began showing me the editorial requirements that take moderate copy to a whole new level. Soon she gave me some projects that I really found I enjoyed. Now I love what I’m learning here about improving your online appearance with converting copy and SEO techniques.
