Funny thing about Google. There’s no end of information out there. In fact, between your inbox, YouTube and coaches on Facebook, there’s no reason anybody can’t know everything there EVER was to know!
Google, Ask, Yahoo, and Bing are all just avenues to resources that other people added to a content pool that searchers get to access when they type in the right terms.
It’s really that simple. Seek, and you shall find.
But it’s not all good information, and it’s not all usable information, and much of it is conflicting information and duplicate information, and when it’s all said and done – we just waste too much time chasing ideas we want to better understand. It’s all noble, of course. We want to make more money faster so we can get on with our lives already.
I call this ‘squirrel caging’. Just like a hamster on a wheel, we make a lot of motion but don’t get to see results. To see results, my friend, we need to be able to shut off the noise and FOCUS – for at least a couple of hours each and every week.
At the end of the first quarter of the year, it’s time to take an assessment. If you’re still wasting too much time on stuff that’s never getting completely finished, implemented or getting results, you have no choice but to get back to basics and find a steady resource you can trust to get over that hurdle … or wall … whatever you want to call it.
Info overload is a dream killer. You can see what you want on the one hand, but connecting the dots gets frustrating.
That’s what a good business coach is for. It may be time for you to bite the bullet and make a choice to let someone else pour into you. We’re vessels, my friends, not containers. You can’t put out what you don’t replenish. When you have poured yourself into your business, you need someone pouring back into you so you can continue in the right direction without burning out.
Did you know that 99% of business owners are doing the WRONG thing? 80% will fail in the first 5 years. 80% of that number will fail in the next two. Why? They keep doing the WRONG thing. Over and over and over again. Isn’t that the definition of insanity? This does NOT have to be YOU.
Don’t you know in your ‘knower’ that you were meant for more than this?
A coach holds you accountable for the timeline in your business. A coach will give you direction in a sea of noise that you don’t have time to swim in. A coach makes sure you have the training necessary – not more, not less – that you need to move forward successfully. A great business coach knows where you are AT, so you can get where you want to be. A coach has been there before, and knows what to avoid.
A business coach inspires you to reach your potential.
Isn’t that what you really want to do in this life?
Break through ‘information overload’. Get sound instruction so you can start moving in the right direction FASTER than you ever imagined.
